The city of Umm Al Quwain is also the largest one in the eponymous emirate, as also its capital. The emirate is among the smaller ones in the UAE. Tourism is among the most important revenue generators of the emirate, besides traditional vocations like fishing. The industrial scene is also developing fast, thanks to continued support from the ruling family.

There are several attractions in the emirate, like old forts, prehistoric relics, museums, harbors, etc. But undoubtedly, the largest tourist attraction in Umm Al Quwain is the Dreamland Aqua Park.
Spread over 60 acres, the park is the largest of its kind in the entire emirate. It is situated on the emirate’s coastline by the Persian Gulf. It is less than an hour’s drive from the nerve center of the UAE, Dubai. This makes the park teeming over with visitors, almost 10,000 of whom can be accommodated daily.
